Police announced dispersal orders over loudspeakers, but some protesters continued, dragging scooters into the street and marking public property with graffiti reading “Kill Cops,” “ACAB,” and “Free Palestine.”
At least five protesters were arrested by Seattle police on the evening of Election Day in the United States after alleged acts of property damage during a demonstration.
FOX13 Seattle reported that a group of demonstrators, dressed in all black, moved through Capitol Hill near 12th Avenue and East Pike Street at around 6:45 p.m.

The group did not appear aligned with any political party, and authorities withheld comment on any specific affiliations.
KTTH Seattle radio host Jason Rantz reported the demonstrators were organised by “far-left, antisemitic activists.” Flyers posted in Capitol Hill and online claimed Israel is committing “a new Holocaust” in Gaza and urged people to “stop funding genocide.”
These flyers directed participants to meet at Cal Anderson Park at 6 p.m.
The identities of those arrested have not yet been released by police. Authorities stated that additional information would be shared as it became available.
